Langford gets third Burnley away game this season at Swansea

Oliver Langford will referee our game tomorrow which will be his third Burnley game this season, and like the other two is away from home.

He was in charge of two away games out of three back in November and December. He first refereed our game at Stoke and then followed that up with the Boxing Day game at Sheffield United.

He's refereed twelve Burnley games to date and that includes this fixture at Swansea two seasons ago when he carded eight players, five of them Burnley players, which is high for him. It was way back at Doncaster in 2011 when he first refereed us. Four of the first eight were at home but the last four have been on the road.

He's refereed 23 games this season. Two of those were in the cup competitions but the other 21 have come in the Championship. In those games there have been 78 yellow and two red cards.

Of the yellows, 33 have gone to home team players and 45 to away team players. The two players he's sent off came in the same game last month when he dismissed Bristol City pair Joe Williams and Ross McCrorie to leave them with nine players in a 1-1 draw at Oxford.

His most recent game came three weeks ago when he refereed the Coventry v Preston game. Coventry won it 2-1 with Preston's Liam Lindsay the only player carded.

The fourth official tomorrow is Tom Nield, the referee who disallowed what should have been our winner at West Brom from Jaidon Anthony.
