Roberts takes the honours in QPR draw

It was another disappointing result last Saturday, being held to a 0-0 draw by QPR, but it was a good day for Connor Roberts who turned in a performance that won him both the man of the match and the player ratings.
His performance won him 33% of the man of the match vote with CJ Egan-Riley, his partner on the right side of the defence, taking second place with a 25% share. Midfielder Josh Laurent was third with 15% and just behind him in fourth place with 13% of the vote was Maxime Estève.
The same four players took the top four places in the player ratings too although not quite in the same order. Roberts was again the winner with a rating of 7.32 out of ten and again Egan-Riley was second; his rating was 7.24. Estève was third this time with 6.98 and Laurent finished in fourth place with a rating of 6.50 out of ten.
That's all given Roberts ten points towards the Up the Clarets Player of the Year. There are also six points for Egan-Riley with both Estève and Laurent winning three points.
It's brought the October fixtures to an end with Estève a big winner of the player of the month. It's his second monthly win this season having won it in August; Luca Koleosho and James Trafford were joint winners in September.
Estève has a massive lead at the top of the player of the year table, almost as many points as the next three in total. That three has changed with Laurent moving into fourth place and Egan-Riley, who is third, now just three points behind second place Josh Brownhill.
The next vote will be underway on Sunday after our game at Millwall. The QPR result is below followed by the October player of the month result and the current player of the year table.
