Community player ratings from Chelsea's narrow victory at the Vitality

1. ROBERT SÁNCHEZ (8.5)

Sánchez's first Man of the Match since the last time he saved a penalty, back in December against Manchester United.

But Big Bob did a lot more in this one than just ("just") save the penalty. He added six more saves to preserve the clean sheet and a rare 1-0 victory for the Blues. (We got only two all of last season.)

"You make a penalty save, a few good saves in the game, a lot of actions, and keep a clean sheet, so I'm over the moon."

"[...] It was a massive win. The first games of the season have been difficult [but] I'm really happy with the team. We are improving game by game, session by session, and we can go to the highest which is what we believe we can do, and this is what we are going to try and do."

2. CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU (7.9, sub)

Of course, it wouldn't have been a 1-0 victory without somebody actually scoring a goal for Chelsea. And that somebody would be Nkunku. Not a bad player to bring on late...

"[Maresca] just said that we need quality in the box and we have ten minutes left so he said for me to enjoy."

And enjoy he did.

3. JADON SANCHO (7.9, sub)

A game-changing debut for Sancho. Love to see it!
