Chelsea 4-2 KAA Gent, Player Ratings: Renato Veiga shines bright like a diamo ... phone flashlight

Community player ratings from Chelsea's opening match victory in the UEFA Conference League
1. RENATO VEIGA (7.9)
Veiga continues to climb the ladder cult-hero-ness, scoring his first goal for the club in this one as well. He's started every single B Squad game and has only failed to feature in two of our ten games overall: making good on his physicality and versatility. He's raw and sometimes a bit wild, but if he keeps improving, those negatives will diminish.
Veiga seemed like a random signing in the summer and at the time, even he himself wasn't sure if he was going to stick around the first-team. But he did and we're all the better for it.
2. PEDRO NETO (7.5)
Really well struck goal to open the second half and establish the all important two-goal lead. Putting pressure on Madueke for the starting position in the A Squad maybe?
3. MYKHAILO MUDRYK (7.2)
Mudyrk's first podium finish of the season, providing the assist for Veiga's opener.
