Chelsea are yet to do any significant business in the January transfer window.

The Blues seem more active in the outgoings department this month, as evident from speculation surrounding Renato Veiga’s exit.

Before Chelsea earn from a sale, they could be set to earn a significant amount from a sell-on clause soon, with Tuttomercatoweb revealing that the player in question is Empoli’s Tino Anjorin.

The 21-year-old has impressed for the Italian side this season, picking up three assists in Serie A. This has led to interest from other clubs and TMW state that Torino want to land the Englishman this month. Atalanta are also a potential suitor.

Empoli have made it clear that they want €15m to sell the midfielder, but 50% of the sum they earn will go to Chelsea because of the sell-on clause in Anjorin’s contract.

The Cobham graduate joined Empoli in the summer 2024 window and had made five first-team appearances for Chelsea during his time at the club.

Even if Anjorin didn’t quite make a mark at Chelsea, the money he could bring in will aid their transfer budget.
