Newcastle United 2-0 Chelsea, Player Ratings: Season's worst
Today at 11:35 PM
Community player ratings from Chelsea's exit from the League Cup
1. MARC CUCURELLA (6.2)
At least he was trying to the very end. Probably should be back in the "A" lineup and Malo Gusto or Reece James, as needed, coming in at right back in the "B" lineups (instead of, say, Disasi).
2. NONI MADUEKE (5.7, sub)
The only (!) used substitute of the game, Madueke gave better shape and balance to the team, and did provide some of his usual endeavor. Wasn't quite enough. Though it wasn't that hard to do better than an out-of-position Dewsbury-Hall on the right wing.
3. MYKHAILO MUDRYK (5.4)
Misha continuing his good form; probably should've had an assist or three in this one. Let down by some extremely wasteful finishing from Christopher Nkunku and João Félix.
