Hello again, Magpies!

Chelsea face Newcastle United only three days after hosting the Tyneside outfit at Stamford Bridge for the Premier League. This being a League Cup affair, getting a win today is even more imperative than in the weekend.

Still Enzo Maresca has chosen to go forward with severe rotation from the starting eleven that took on the Magpies last Sunday, while Eddie Howe has done the exact opposite.

Newcastle starting XI:
Pope | Schär (c), Joelinton, Tonali, Gordon, Isak, Krafth, Hall, Kelly, Willock, Longstaff

Substitutes from: Dúbravka, Barnes, Osula, Livramento, Almirón, Burn, A. Murphy, Bruno G., Miley

Chelsea starting lineup (4-3-3?):
Jorgensen | Disasi, Tosin, Badiashile, Cucurella | Enzo (c), Veiga, Dewsbury-Hall | João Félix, Mudryk, Nkunku

Substitutes from: Bergstrom, Bettinelli, Colwill, Chilwell, Casadei, Chukwuemeka, Madueke, Palmer, Guiu

Date / Time: Wednesday, October 30, 19.45 GMT; 3:45pm EDT; 1:15am IST
Venue: St James Park, Newcastle upon Tyne
Referee: Chris Kavanagh (on pitch; no VAR)

On TV: Sky Sports Plus (UK); none (USA); elsewhere
