(Video): £17.1m striker and academy winger show they're too good for PL2 with superb goal

Chelsea managed to get a lot of their fringe players from the first team out of the door in the final days of the window, but there were plenty who didn't make it.

Among them were Deivid Washington (signed for a whopping £17.1m) and youth product Harvey Vale, who spent last season on loan at Bristol Rovers.

Both are still stuck at Chelsea, playing for the Development Squad when they're both clearly good enough to be playing senior football somewhere.

Their class was evident just now as they combined to equalise against Brentford in PL2.
