According to a claim in the Turkish media, Crystal Palace continue to show interest in Trabzonspor midfielder Batista Mendy, but face competition from other clubs.
The 24-year-old was a reported target for the Eagles during the last summer window and he's continued to be linked with a move to Selhurst Park.

It's claimed the Ligue 1 side are lining up an offer for the former Angers player as they look to bring him back to France. Trabzonspor are said to be keen to keep hold of Mendy, but will be prepared to listen to offers in the region of €15m.
Again, Fanatik credit Crystal Palace with interest in Mendy and they may now have to react to sign the Frenchman.
The Turkish media outlet also reports that along with Crystal Palace and Rennes, clubs from Italy are monitoring the situation with the Trabzonspor player.
Mendy has started 16 league games this season and is contracted to Trabzonspor until June 2027, with the option for a year extension.
