Everton player said to have asked for January exit – Loan with buying option desired

Beto was on the bench for Everton in their last Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Game time has been a problem for the striker at Everton, where he’s played only 180 minutes of Premier League football this season. He started against Manchester United, but it was only his first start of the league season.
The Portuguese forward has been repeatedly linked with a return to Italy and things may be moving in that regard.
La Stampa, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, have reported that the player has asked to leave the Toffees in the January transfer window and is frustrated with life at Goodison Park.
The Merseyside club are said to have accepted his demand, amidst rising interest from Torino.
The Turin side are looking to close a deal with an initial loan with the option or obligation to buy at €15m to €20m.
There is also competition from AS Roma, who see Beto as an alternative to Artem Dovbyk. Torino have multiple options on their shortlist but the Everton man is said to be at the top of it.
