Nottingham Forest face Crystal Palace at the City Ground tonight looking to build on the performances away from home on Trentside.

Forest have claimed eight of their 10 points this season away from home but have just two points from three contests on their own patch.

Several Forest stars have been away on international duty and it will be interesting to see how long it takes the Reds to get going tonight.

Palace arrive at the City Ground looking for their maiden win this season and with a strong squad, they will still provide a stern test for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.

Forest will have Morgan Gibbs-White missing tonight as he claimed another suspension after a red card against Brighton – although he’s injured anyway.

Seb Hutchinson hails Nottingham Forest star Nikola Milenkovic

The Sky Sports commentator will be in place for the live television coverage tonight and he’s produced some memorable moments on the microphone since Forest came up.

He’s been quizzed on the season so far from a Forest perspective and the signing of Milenkovic has been praised by Hutchinson ahead of tonight’s clash.

He told the Red Side of the Trent podcast: “There is a very passive way of defending in the sense that Forest don’t engage sides when they come onto you. I think that very much suits the centre-backs that Forest have at the moment.

“I’m not suggesting that Forest park the bus, that’s not what they do. The centre-halves – despite the criticism of Murillo in the air – both of the centre-halves are fantastic, especially Milenkovic, this season aerially he’s been absolutely unbelievable for the money that the club paid.”

Milenkovic is the man behind the Forest revival

The concept of a player costing £12 million and making an immediate impact at Forest in the Premier League is just ridiculous.

Recruitment has always been a hot topic at Forest since the return of Premier League football and it’s fair to say that the club hasn’t always got it right.

Milenkovic has been an incredible signing though and to land a quality defender for that money is just unthinkable in this day and age.

The player has real leadership qualities and he’s already struck up a brilliant partnership with Murillo at the heart of a back four.

Milenkovic has already been linked with a move away from the club and Forest won’t be thinking about selling him just yet.

The signing of an international captain is not to be sniffed at and hopefully, Milenkovic can continue coming up trumps for Forest this season.
