Nuno Espirito Santo has a decision to make with a number of players nursing knocks ahead of Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United.
Nottingham Forest are one of the most feared teams in the Premier League this season, which is crazy to think about with all the big hitters around.
However, West Ham provide a different challenge and have been quite unpredictable this season under Julen Lopetegui, and Forest’s form at the City Ground hasn’t been the best.
It’s very much the James Ward-Prowse derby, with the midfielder at current loan club Nottingham Forest but still owned by parent club West Ham.
Interestingly, Ward-Prowse has stated that he’s not picking a winner for the game as he doesn’t want to upset either side with a prediction.
One player who has dropped a bit of a hint ahead of the clash is Jota Silva.
Jota Silva drops hint ahead of Nottingham Forest vs West Ham
Jota Silva has had to be patient for opportunities this season, playing eight times but starting zero in the Premier League up until this point.
Heading into today’s clash, it appears as if the Nottingham Forest attacker has picked up a knock, which has him as a slight potential doubt.
But, that hasn’t dropped Jota from dropping what appears to be a hint ahead of the West Ham clash.
Taking to Instagram with a story post, the midfielder posted a picture of himself form the Leicester City clash with a fingers crossed and a praying emoji.
Now, this could mean one of two things. He’s either praying and has his fingers crossed for a well-deserved start with Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson both carrying knocks, or he’s hoping to be fit to be able to play a part against West Ham this weekend.
Jota Silva can add so much to this Nottingham Forest side
Jota Silva has excited fans with his want to run at defenders, as well as his pace and trickery on the ball.
It’s about time he was given a chance to prove himself from the start in the Premier League given the current injury situation at Nottingham Forest, if he’s fit himself.
Alan Smith even said that Jota Silva is like £100 million star Jack Grealish after his display against Leicester City last time out.
He’s not the only one, as Morato also called Jota a monster on Instagram after the Chelsea draw.
