Nottingham Forest beat Brentford 2-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium to make it three wins on the spin.

The Reds won courtesy of Ola Aina and Anthony Elanga and Forest will now be in the top four of the Premier League on Christmas Day.

Brian Laws hailed Nuno Espirito Santo for the tactical tweak he made as he chose to go with three central defenders for the trip to Brentford.

Elanga has been getting texts from Jermain Defoe and given that he’s scored twice in two games, clearly something has rubbed off on him.

One player who was once again in fine form for Forest was Murillo and he has two other centre-backs for company on Saturday.

Murillo posts two-word reaction on Instagram after Nottingham Forest win

The Brazilian defender is a wanted man and he looks like going right to the top of the game at some point during his career.

Murillo was in fine form against Brentford and after the game, he took to Instagram to deliver an emphatic two-word response.

He said: “Big win.”

Murillo has been linked with a host of clubs during his time at Forest and ultimately, keeping him will prove tricky.

However, with Forest flying high in the league and Murillo playing every game, the Reds will be able to demand a valuation that suits them.

Manchester City considered signing Murillo before he came to the City Ground and how Pep Guardiola could do with a player like him in the team right now.

The talented youngster was once again in fine form and his ability to run forward with the ball makes him somewhat unique as a centre-back.

The partnership that has been struck up with Nikola Milenkovic is a joy to behold and the Reds have a partnership that has flourished this season.

Murillo was a constant threat to the Brentford forwards and his powerful attributes ensured that very few strikers got the better of him.

The defender is doing brilliantly well at Forest and for now, we have to enjoy Murillo whilst we can.
