Nottingham Forest players will be jetting off on international duty from tomorrow – and tonight, there is news of another player getting a surprise call-up.
The Reds beat Ipswich Town 4-2 at Portman Road yesterday, with Anthony Elanga (2), Nikola Milenkovic and Jota Silva getting among the goalscorers.
Forest are still sitting pretty in third place in the Premier League table and are now in a great position to try and secure Champions League football next season.
It’s brilliant for Forest to be in this shape with just nine games remaining of the campaign and the international break represents a chance for the Reds to reset somewhat.
Morgan Gibbs-White was in fine form against Ipswich. Fans chanted negative comments towards Thomas Tuchel in the stands at Portman Road and now the England head coach has seen sense.

It’s hard to imagine him not going off to play for England and now he will be desperate for a chance to prove himself to Tuchel over the next fortnight.
Common sense appears to have prevailed with this one and the challenge now is for Gibbs-White to ensure that he becomes a regular pick for the Three Lions going forward.
