There is no stopping Harry Kane and Michael Olise right now with Bayern Munich fans describing their latest display as ‘absolute cinema’.

The duo were at their mesmerizing best as Bayern ran out 5-0 winners in their trip to face Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

Within those goals, Kane scored one and provided two assists, while Olise managed an incredible two goals and two assists on a memorable day for the French winger.

It was Olise who opened the scoring midway through the first half with a tap-in finish following a team move that involved Kane.

Olise then turned provider as he jinked past no fewer than four Werder Bremen defenders before teeing up Jamal Musiala to make it 2-0.

Musiala and the former Crystal Palace man then combined for Bayern’s third, with Olise selflessly cutting back to find Kane who slotted it in the bottom corner of the net.

Olise then made it 4-0 with a wonderfully composed finish into the top corner of the net, before Kane teed up Serge Gnabry to make it 5-0 on a wonderful afternoon for Bayern.

Olise’s two goals and two assists made him the first player to score multiple goals and provide multiple assists in the same top five European league game in 2024/25.

Bayern are now top of the Bundesliga table with four wins from four and an incredible 16 goals scored.

As a result, supporters have been piling praise on Olise on social media.

One fan wrote: “I think that's one of the most beautiful team goals I've ever seen for Bayern. Musiala to Kane to Olise to Kane. Absolute cinema.”

A second supporter wrote: “Michael Olise is just unbelievable.”

Michael Olise: Seven goals, five assists

A third wrote: “Michael Olise is proving to be quite the signing for Bayern. He's been involved in everything.”

For Vincent Kompany it has been a wonderful start to life in Bavaria.

That win over Werder Bremen means he’s the first Bayern coach since Pep Guardiola in 2015/16 to win the first three away games in the Bundesliga.

He’s also the first Bayern coach since Carlo Ancelotti in 2016/17 to win his first four Bundesliga games.

However his next match could be trickier as he welcomes Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen to Munich on Saturday, September 28 before facing Aston Villa in the Champions League.
