Alejandro Garnacho put an obnoxious fan firmly in his place after being goaded outside Old Trafford.

The Argentine winger had arrived at the Theatre Of Dreams for Manchester United‘s Europa League clash with Greek side PAOK when he stopped to sign autographs and meet supporters.

While many were delighted to meet one of their stars, one fan was clearly trying to get a rise out of the 20-year-old as he offered up some pointers in a patronising way.

Speaking to Garnacho in a video, the fan said: “Garnacho, you’ve got to pass better today, yeah, please?

“Pass better, score a goal and work on your first touch as well, yeah?”

Keeping a cool head despite the unneeded provocation, Garnacho eventually turned to the fan and sarcastically said: “Why you not playing, man?”

He then walked off to the entrance to join his teammates in the Old Trafford dressing room.

After a pause in the video, the provocative fan declared: “He did not like that.”

In spite of what the supporter said, Garnacho has enjoyed a decent campaign in which he has scored six goals and provided four assists in 16 matches for Man United.

At just 20 years of age, Garnacho has won an FA Cup and a Carabao Cup at United and also boasts a Copa America winners’ medal to his name.

He’s also contributed 35 goal involvements in 102 games for Man United and won seven senior caps for Argentina.

While we can’t fully verify, it’s almost certain that the outspoken fan is some way short of those numbers, despite his insistence to dish out advice to the fledgling superstar.
