The English domestic league returns in full this weekend after last weekend’s FA Cup third drama.

1. West Ham to beat Crystal Palace at home (Sat, 3pm)

Graham Potter got off to a winning start in his first Premier League match in charge of West Ham in midweek, ending Fulham’s nine match unbeaten run with a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium.

Another London derby faces the Hammers this weekend with the side just four points off the top 10 now, as they take on a Crystal Palace side with only two wins in their last six matches against Premier League opposition.

Both of those victories for the Eagles have come against the Premier League’s bottom two clubs, and will need to raise their game if they’re to get anything from a rejuvenated West Ham side under new management.

2. Sheffield United to beat Norwich at home (Sat, 3pm)

Sheffield United head into the weekend just a point off the top of the Championship table as they seek an instant return to the Premier League following last season’s relegation.

The Blades have won nine of their last league games at Bramall Lane, losing just once and a win on Saturday would tie them with Leeds with having the best home record in the division.

Norwich make the trip to Yorkshire off the back of a heavy 4-0 home defeat against Brighton in the FA Cup last weekend, and with just one away win in their last nine matches in all competitions.

3. West Brom to beat Stoke at home (Sat, 3pm)

West Brom head into the weekend having lost just two of their last 18 matches in the Championship as they look to break back into the top six this weekend with a victory against a struggling Stoke side.

The Baggies are currently just a point outside the play-off positions and are up against a Stoke side with just one win in their last 12 league matches, a run which has seen them sack their manager and drop into a relegation battle.

The Potters sit just four points above the relegation zone ahead of the weekend’s action and with just one win in their last 10 away league games, which includes the Staffordshire side going winless in their last five on the road in the second tier.

4.Walsall to beat MK Dons at home (Sat, 3pm)

Walsall head into the weekend eight points clear at the top of the League Two table, with a game in hand, and with eight league victories in a row ahead of their match against MK Dons on Saturday.

MK Dons prepare to take on the league leaders having lost four of their last six matches, winning only one in that time span, which has seen Scott Lindsey’s side drop out of the play-offs and down into 11th place.

The Saddlers head into this weekend’s clash not having lost in the league since the 1st October.
