Arsenal have to act imminently to sign a highly-rated defender before his price tag skyrockets at Euro 2024.

Further, with a £26m price tag mooted, that will surely begin to attract some big hitters to the table, so The Gunners can’t afford to ponder on this deal, they must look to wrap it up before the knockout stages in Germany.

Kadioglu, who is an extremely versatile defender, has a number of impressive statistics on FBref.

The Fenerbahce left-back ranks in the top one per cent for progressive carries per 90 compared to his positional peers, evincing his terrific dribbling ability.

Further, he sits in the top two per cent for tackles per 90, demonstrating his proficiency defensively, too.

Labelled a ‘superstar’ by talent scout Jacek Kulig, Kadioglu would be a very exciting acquisition for Arsenal and one that would provide depth in a number of areas across the backline and even in midfield.
