TBR Football understands that Borussia Dortmund have held fresh talks with Arsenal over loan deal for Oleksandr Zinchenko, however they have also contacted Chelsea about a possible move for Ben Chilwell.

Both Chilwell and Zinchenko are out of favour at their respective clubs and with the window approaching its close, the pair could be in line to move on.

Zinchenko has already been tipped to be one to watch at Arsenal this month, while TBR revealed Chilwell could also leave on loan this month.

And now, TBR Football can reveal that both players are on the radar of German giants, Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund looking at Ben Chilwell after talks over Oleksandr Zinchenko

TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can reveal that Dortmund want to bolster their left-sided options before the window closes and having targeted Renato Veiga before he opted for Juventus, they are now keen on another Chelsea player in Ben Chilwell.

Interest in Chilwell comes amid reports Dortmund are keen on Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko.

And while we are told Zinchenko is keen to move to Germany, Dortmund are also considering Chilwell, while they’ve also spoken to Chelsea about Carney Chukwuemeka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Chilwell cost Chelsea a hefty £50m but has fallen out of favour under Enzo Maresca.

Ben Chilwell v Oleksandr Zinchenko stats

For Dortmund, both Chilwell and Zinchenko will tick a lot of boxes in terms of being experienced Premier League players capable of playing all down the left-hand side.

Zinchenko, of course, can play in midfield if needed as well and he’s been a key player for Arsenal in their turnaround under Mikel Arteta.

In terms of durability and availability, Zinchenko appears the more solid option for Dortmund, albeit Chilwell could be seen as a more natural defender.
