Over the past few weeks, we covered claims from Germany that Eintracht Frankfurt are keen on signing Brighton & Hove Albion's Pascal Groß.

On June 2nd, Bild said the Germany international will make a decision on his future after the Euros. It was also stated Borussia Dortmund have looked at the midfielder, who has a year left on his deal with the Seagulls.

A fresh report from Monday's edition of Bild provides the latest on BVB's interest in the Brighton player.

Nuri Sahin took charge at the Signal Iduna Park after Edin Terzic stepped down from his post last week. Dortmund appointed Lars Ricken as their new managing director last month.

Bild say Ricken, BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl and technical director Sven Mislintat are leading their side’s pursuit of Groß, and have 'explored the chances' of taking him away from Brighton in the summer window.

Groß has already talked about his desire to return to Germany, and echoed that again a few weeks ago. His valuation is around €8m, but the newspaper says he should be available for a 'relatively low fee' this summer.

Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt will have to wait until after the Euros to find out their chances of securing the Brighton midfielder's services.

As we mentioned earlier, Turkish reports of a potential move to the Super Lig seem far fetched at this stage.
