Celtic 'Christmas party at the darts' ridiculed after Dundee Utd flop
Yesterday at 10:42 AM
Celtic were mocked for their performance against Dundee United after the team held a Christmas party earlier in the week, according to Tam McManus.
The Bhoys were held to a goalless draw at Tannadice Park but still maintain an 11-point lead at the top of the table. This is only the second time this season they have dropped points.
The draw comes on the back of their controversial Scottish League Cup win over fierce rivals Rangers last weekend.
Despite a number of players being sidelined with injury and illness, former Hibs forward Tam McManus suggested on X that a Christmas party could have impacted their performance.
He said: "Must have been some Christmas party Celtic had at the darts. More doubles and trebles hit than Gary Anderson. Miles off it today all over the park and Dundee United gain a well-deserved point".
Celtic remain top despite sloppy performance

Brendan Rodgers' side were coasting in this game, but that bit of relaxation probably came off the back of winning their first trophy of the season.
Celtic fans are taking a more humorous view of the fact that Rangers were wrongly not given a penalty, but they have also faced criticism for their reaction.
Gers fans want an unprecedented replay, while Rodgers and his team were seemingly still in celebration mode after their triumph.
The Northern Irish coach remains ambitious and reportedly plans to "test the board" with January signings. Former captain Kieran Tierney could be part of that test, with rumours suggesting they’re interested in a move.
Football Insider revealed they could revisit signing Michel-Ange Balikwisha, which would add some attacking impetus. If the Glasgow club progresses in the Champions League, a run into the knockout stages could be on the cards.
They return to Celtic Park to face Motherwell on Boxing Day and hope their advantage doesn't take another hit.
In other news, the Scottish government could speak to Celtic fans.
