Chelsea will be involved in a fight to secure a top-four finish when Premier League football returns following the current international break, and they will be pushed to their limit to try and achieve that.
The Blues were briefly involved in the title race during the first half of the campaign, but they quickly faded away from that much to the frustration of supporters.
Chelsea's inconsistent results have led to pressure growing on Enzo Maresca, with some fans even calling for him to be fired.
However, the club are currently fourth in the Premier League table after 29 games and they boast the third-best goal difference in the league.
Chelsea will be overtaken by Newcastle if they win their game in hand, and with just five points separating them and 10th-place Bournemouth, it could end up being a disastrous finish if they're not careful.
Maresca's side are five points behind Nottingham Forest in third place, with their next game being a London derby against Tottenham.
Robert Sanchez is desperate to earn Champions League football
Robert Sanchez has been Maresca's first-choice goalkeeper throughout the majority of the season, and he will be tasked with helping the club finish in the top four.
That's something that the Spain international is actively trying to achieve in a bid to play in the Champions League next season.

He told the Chelsea website, "If we don't get [the] top four, myself and everyone in the team will be very disappointed."
Chelsea fans are blaming Sanchez
The Blues goalkeeper might be disappointed if they fail to secure a top-four finish, but Chelsea fans are pinning a lot of the blame on him.
They told Sanchez that he'll be a "big reason why" while others told him he needs to "leave out team asap."
