Chelsea youngster Andrey Santos has insisted nobody has spoken to him about his future yet, insisting it's in the hands of the club and his agents.
EPSN Brasil have a short interview with the midfielder today as he looks ahead to the summer, when he's set to return to Chelsea from a loan spell at Strasbourg.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at the French side, who are also owned by BlueCo, those in charge at Stamford Bridge.
He's been impressing this season, playing in 91% of the available minutes in Ligue 1 this season with 24 appearances to date, managing eight goals and two assists.
His current loan deal expires in the summer, and he's set to return to Chelsea at that point, where his current deal runs until 2030.
Whether he is a part of their long-term plans remains to be seen as he's yet to make a single appearance for the Blues since joining in a €12.5m deal from Vasco de Gama in 2023.
He doesn't know what the plans are at this moment in time, admitting nobody from Chelsea has spoken to him yet.
"A lot of people send me news, but I don’t think there’s anything concrete like that," he said.
"No one has come directly to me or even talked to me. I think it’s in Chelsea’s hands, it’s in my agents’ hands, it’s in my hands too. I think that right now we’re focused, I’m focused on these other games that are left which are very important here for Strasbourg.
"And when the season ends, we’ll see what happens, we’ll all sit down and talk to, to make the best decision for, for both sides.
"Oh, of course, of course you want to play for, for the biggest clubs in, in Europe. It’s, um, a very big club, Chelsea. Of course, you dream of this moment, but I think at the moment the best thing is to have a clear head, to finish the season here and to make the best decision when the season ends."
