Christian Eriksen to be one of two Man United stars 'first out the door in January'

Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof will be the first players to leave Man United in January due to their contract situations.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson admitted new manager Ruben Amorim will have to clear out the dressing room at Old Trafford.
Eriksen, 32, and Lindelof, 30, could be heading into their final six months with Man United as both of their contracts are set to expire in June 2025.
Amorim has endured a challenging start to his time at Old Trafford after losing five of his opening 10 games, marking the worst record of any new United manager since the 1930s.
There is unlikely to be much room to make new signings in January as the Manchester giants are believed to be short on cash due to their profit and sustainability (PSR) situation, having recorded a £113.2million net loss last season.
Man United could cut their losses on two stars
Robinson suggested United, who sit 14th in the Premier League table, could look to cut their losses on Eriksen and Lindleof next month to free up some space in the squad.
"I think the two that spring to the top of the list are Christian Eriksen and Lindelof," Robinson told Football Insider.
"Eriksen might be surprising because I think he's probably playing okay out of the whole lot at the moment.
"I watched him at Tottenham last week. I thought in the first half he had a decent impact on the game.
"But I think when you look at the age of the players, you look at the squad that he's got, they are going to have to rejuvenate the squad.
"It's not a quick fix at Manchester United. It's a three or four transfer window job, and you are going to have to give the manager time to be able to do that.
"He's going to have to clear that dressing room out. The first two out will be Eriksen and Lindelof because of Eriksen with his age and contract status, and Lindelof because of his contract status.
"They might get a small fee for both in January, but I wouldn't be surprised if they cut their losses on either just to free up some space in the squad."
