Club 'back in the fight' to sign Celtic man – Brendan Rodgers' side willing to 'let him leave'

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers could be without Álex Valle beyond the winter market, according to reports.
The left-back arrived at Celtic Park from Barcelona on a loan deal last summer and made 18 appearances for the Scottish champions so far.
Thursday’s edition of Sport claims Como want to sign the Celtic man, who has been in and out of Brendan Rodgers’ starting lineup this season.
Barcelona see it as an interesting option to cut short the 20-year-old’s loan stay at Celtic and send him to Como because Cesc Fàbregas’ side have been betting on young talents.
Another Catalan newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, relay claims from elsewhere about Como’s interest in the Celtic player and then provide their own take.
The Serie A side had looked at the fullback before he agreed to join the Glasgow club last summer. The report states they are ‘back in the fight’ to sign him in the ongoing window and are already negotiating, likely with Barcelona.
Mundo state the ‘door has opened’ for the Barcelona owned player at Celtic because they are willing to ‘let Álex Valle leave’ in January. This has seen Como rekindle their interest in the Spaniard, after failing to sign him last summer.
If Valle were to join Como in this window, it’ll be a loan deal without any buying option or obligation.
