According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor are showing interest in Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing.
The Super Lig club have been enduring a disappointing season and are looking to bolster their squad during this transfer window.
Sabah today report on Trabzonspor's pursuit for a central midfielder and their first choice is Lyon's Corentin Tolisso. The Turkish side have reportedly made a loan offer for the French midfielder, and they are now waiting for an answer from Lyon.
However, if the Ligue 1 club reject this offer, then Trabzonspor will turn their attention to the Bournemouth player, as reported by the Turkish newspaper.
The Dane has struggled to get game time for the Premier League side this season and could this month be looking for a club which can give him more opportunities.
It seems the Trabzon club could look to take advantage of his situation at the Vitality Stadium, but any move for the 30-year-old will depend on Lyon's response to the loan offer for Tolisso.
Billing has made eight appearances for Bournemouth in the league this season but has started just one game. He's contracted to the Cherries until June 2027.
