According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are still showing interest in West Ham United defender Vladimir Coufal.

The Czech international was linked with a move to the Super Lig champions during the summer, but instead they brought in Elias Jelert from Copenhagen.

However, the Dane's move to Istanbul hasn't worked out so far and he's struggled to get games with Cimbom. Subsequently, Galatasaray could be back in the market for a right back in January and A Spor say they will again target the West Ham player.

Following the departure of Serge Aurier at the end of last season, the Turkish side have been without an experienced right back and Coufal could solve this issue.

The 32-year-old has struggled to get game time in the Premier League during this campaign and Gala may fancy their chances.

Coufal has made just two starts in the league this season and hasn't featured for the Hammers in the last four games. He's contracted to the Premier League side until next summer.
