Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube video with Mr Beast hit one million views in just 30 minutes.

The Al Nassr forward is no stranger to achieving incredible achievements on the pitch, with his five Ballons d’Or summing up the glittering career he’s had for club and country.

But now, he’s hitting incredible milestones in the world of social media too.

He’s already the most followed person – let alone athlete – on Instagram, with 643 million monitoring his life on the app.

YouTube has become his latest venture, with Ronaldo already amassing 67.5 million subscribers in three months.

Now, he’s aimed to ‘break the internet’ with YouTube giant Mr Beast.

The 26-year-old American boasts a mind-boggling 331 million subscribers.

And when the two combined, the viewer count within just 30 minutes was an unbelievable one million.

“I Meet MrBeast To Break The Internet!!” was the title of the video posted on Thursday.

The upload, which is 13 minutes and 59 seconds long, shows the pair chatting together on a sofa.

The description of the video is: “Ronaldo meets the biggest Youtuber and Jimmy answers the question everyone is asking: "Am I Gonna Beat You?"

“Big challenges to come on the 30th!!!”

At the time of writing – two hours after it was published – the video has been watched 3.6 million times.

"He is the man I have to beat on YouTube,” Ronaldo said.

“I want to beat him, watch out! My kids tell me I've become a YouTuber!

“Above all, I want to be close to my fans.”

The footballer’s channel crossed the one million subscribers mark within just 90 minutes of its launch. He was also the fastest YouTuber to record one million subscribers.

The Manchester United legend has posted 44 videos already since he launched his channel.

Ronaldo has still got it, but his career is in its twilight years

Those uploads have included collaborations with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

He’s also posted day in the life videos.

His time at Old Trafford is also spoken about, with Ronaldo doing sit-down chats with former teammate and ex-England defender Rio Ferdinand.

Ronaldo turns 40 in the new year, and his effort to build his social media presence may well be a sign of him knowing the end of his time on the pitch is coming.

But despite him nearly hitting the big four zero, Ronaldo has still got it.

He bagged a magical bicycle kick against Poland during the recent international break.

Ronaldo isn’t quite on track to winning the Saudi Pro League golden boot again this season, though.

He’s currently in joint third on six goals, with ex-Real Madrid star Karim Benzema in second with eight and former Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in the lead with 11.

But if he doesn’t manage that achievement, maybe he and Mr Beast can break a new record on the 30th.
