What David de Gea and Crysencio Summerville said to Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The West Ham No.29 is clearly a popular figure, as a number of his fellow footballers congratulated him on the strike along with De Gea – who was linked with Newcastle after leaving Old Trafford – and Summerville.

Emerson Palmieri sent the Londoner a few fire emojis – as did Konstantinos Mavropanos – while Ian Maatsen of Aston Villa was there to praise the defender too.

In regards to De Gea’s message, the Spaniard simply posted a spider emoji, in reference to Wan-Bissaka’s nickname, given to him as a result of his immense tackling ability which makes it seem like he has eight legs at times.

Furthermore, Summerville wrote “spider what a player” in the comments section of the 27-year-old’s Instagram post.

The West Ham No.29 also completed 85% of his passes and completed one dribble, on a night where he was a real difference maker for Julen Lopetegui.

TBR Football understand Tim Steidten had approached Edin Terzic as West Ham considered replacing Lopetegui, so in many ways, Wan-Bissaka might have just saved the Spaniard’s job.
