Dewsbury Hall & Carney Chukwuemeka to Celtic: O'Rourke shares update today

Celtic are expected to make a move to sign an out-of-favour Chelsea duo in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that the Scottish giants are monitoring Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka.
Both players have failed to break into Enzo Maresca's Chelsea team even though Dewsbury-Hall only joined the club during the summer transfer window.
There is a lot of interest in the former Leicester City midfielder, but well-placed sources have told Football Insider he would favour staying in the Premier League.
Celtic have been heavily linked to Chukwuemeka in a bid to bolster their midfield options which is something Brendan Rodgers wants to do.
The Chelsea duo would be seen as a "great pick-up" if the Hops are able to secure them during the January transfer window.

It isn't just Dewsbury-Hall that Celtic would have to fight to try and sign as there is also plenty of interest in Chukwuemeka as well.
Premier League teams and foreign clubs are monitoring the 21-year-old with a potential loan deal with an obligation to buy being something that could happen for him.
Celtic want to bring them both into the club but given the competition from elsewhere, they might have to consider other options too.
The Hoops' 2023-24 accounts saw their year-end cash rise from £72.3million in 2022-23 to £77.2million, while the club also sold Matt O'Riley during the summer for £25million.
