Mikey Moore dazzled for Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League as they secured a 1-0 win against AZ Alkmaar at home.

It wasn’t as much of a straightforward win as expected, but Ange Postecoglou’s side got all three points as Richarlison’s second-half penalty made all the difference on the night.

A handful of fringe players and youngsters got opportunities to impress, one of whom was Moore.

Starting on the right flank, the 17-year-old showed his class and earned rave reviews from fans and pundits for his performance.

Some of his teammates were also left impressed by his exploits, with Dominik Solanke and Pedro Porro among those to laud him after the game.

Moore was likened to Neymar by James Maddison for his ability to take defenders and beat them as he gave the Tottenham fans another glorious glimpse of his potential.

After the game, Glenn Hoddle said Tottenham’s latest win will be all about Moore as fans just love it when local lads storm their way into the first-team fray.

The Tottenham youngster took to Instagram to thank the fans for their support as he posted a picture with a caption that read “Another 3 points and unreal support. Thank you🤍”.

Solanke left a star emoji as a comment, while Porro described him as a ‘star’ with a fire emoji.

Moore’s stats vs Alkmaar

Moore didn’t get a goal or an assist, but his direct running and trickery were on display as he ran the opposition defenders ragged.

Alkmaar couldn’t get to grips with his guile on the ball and his underlying numbers from the game make for impressive reading.

The 17-year-old is one of the brightest prospects in English football and will look to keep on improving to force his way into the first-team fray.
