Tottenham face a tricky trip to Tamworth FC on Sunday as they get their FA Cup third-round campaign under way.

Tottenham go into the FA Cup game on the back of a 1-0 win over Liverpool in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.

However, Spurs will be mindful to avoid a giant-killing, as they've been beset by injuries and inconsistency this season.

Troy Deeney recently warned Tottenham that Tamworth away would be very difficult for the visitors on a “horrible” pitch.

Meanwhile, Tamworth currently sit 16th in the National League and head into the tie off the back of a 1-0 loss to Sutton in the FA Trophy fourth round.

Alfie Dorrington and Callum Olusesi tipped to start for Tottenham v Tamworth

Postecoglou has already confirmed that Tottenham newcomer Antonin Kinsky is set to start against Tamworth.

There could also be some changes at the back in order to lighten the load on the current first-choice defenders ahead of the North London derby.

Pedro Porro and Archie Gray could drop out, with Alfie Dorrington potentially making his first senior start for Spurs and Sergio Reguilon also coming in.

Sarr and Maddison will be fresh after missing the Liverpool game through suspension, so they’re likely to start against Tamworth.

There could also be another debut on the day, with academy midfielder Callum Olusesi potentially in line to feature having made the bench 13 times already this term.

Yaya Toure previously described Olusesi as a “top grade” youngster along with Mikey Moore, in conversation with PA Sport via football.london.

Moore and fellow academy graduate Will Lankshear could start in attack alongside Timo Werner.
