Evan Ferguson next club odds: West Ham ahead of Arsenal as Premier League clubs eye striker

Brighton’s Evan Ferguson could be on his way to a Premier League rival this January transfer window as West Ham eye the Seagulls striker.
The Irish forward still has another four years on his contract for Brighton so he could fetch a nice sum for them, as they continue to utilise their transfers for big profit while still spending low.

It’s not just one or two Premier League clubs that could battle it out for the Irish striker’s signature either, with Arsenal, Fulham, Everton and Leicester also listed in the odds.
Ferguson started last season off in incredible fashion with consistent goals but after 27 appearances could only match his 2022/23 season tally of six goals.
He’s now netted just once in 12 matches where a move away could be beneficial for both the club and player as he looks to bounce back to form.
Brighton CEO, Paul Barber was in no rush to sell Ferguson last January, as a move for the Irishman has been on the cards for quite some time but the Seagulls are happy to keep him as an attacking option still.
Arsenal could be one tough side to turn down though as the Gunners eye move for Ferguson, despite the player only starting twice this season so far as he’s out of favour with Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck are Brighton’s main strikers.
Though Ferguson could be on the move without a permanent move as West Ham look to make a loan move instead.
