EXCLUSIVE with Graeme Bailey

Arsenal didn't end up signing a striker in the summer transfer window, despite a serious focus on that position.

Indeed, Arsenal were looking for centre-forwards in the summer. The Gunners tried to sign Benjamin Sesko, while Mikel Arteta's admiration of Alexander Isak was highly-publicised.

There's still a feeling that Arsenal need a striker, and with the January transfer window around the corner, the Gunners could dip into the market.

Luckily for Arsenal, a quality striker is about to come onto the market, and he has been offered to Mikel Arteta's side.

Premier League clubs offered Randal Kolo Muani

TBR Football understands that Paris Saint-Germain's Randal Kolo Muani has been offered to a number of Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window.

Intermediaries have been touching base with a number of clubs around Europe, but given the size of deal that it would require to land him – England is the natural landing spot for the £70m man.

Kolo Muani is far from being first-choice under Luis Enrique, and TBR Football understands that the only reason he has even been given the limited game time was due to the injury to Portuguese front-man Goncalo Ramos – who is due back to action in December following ankle surgery.

TBR Football is told that PSG are open to a number of their fringe players departing in the new year and one of those is Kolo Muani.

Which clubs have been offered Kolo Muani?

Intermediaries are now making contact and we are told that Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle are amongst the clubs who have been spoken to.

At this point, there has been no contact with PSG about Kolo Muani, but he is a player who is well known to those contacted as he was watched regularly before he left Eintracht Frankfurt for the French capital in the summer of 2023.

PSG struck a deal worth €85million (£70m) for Kolo Muani, and the club know they can't expect to make their money back but they would be willing to loan him with a view to him impressing and putting himself in the shop window.

TBR Football is told that Enrique has made it clear that he would be happy for Kolo Muani – who has started just two league games this season – to be moved on.

Despite his struggle domestically, Kolo Muani is a trusted member of Didier Deschamps's French squad and he played the full 90 minutes in their wins over Israel and Belgium and he helped himself to an assist and two goals over the course of those games.

The Frenchman could be well-suited to the Premier League. After all, he's a very physically striking player. In fact, according to The Speeds Database, he's one of the quickest players in Europe, and his top speed is higher than Liverpool's Mohamed Salah's.

Kolo Muani was brilliant at the last World Cup, and he may be exactly the type of signing Arsenal need to get over the line in the title race this season.
