Bradford City have agreed a fee for MK Dons midfielder Tommy Leigh, sources have told Football Insider.
The League Two club have beaten several EFL rivals to the 22-year-old’s signature.
Leigh is set to complete a move imminently after MK Dons accepted the offer from the Bantams.
The midfielder, who joined MK Dons last summer from Accrington, has struggled for regular minutes since the arrival of Scott Lindsey as manager.
He has not been involved in the matchday squad for the last six games.
Leigh has made 17 appearances across all competitions in the 2024-25 campaign this term, notching one goal and four assists.
The midfielder is experienced at League One level after his time at Accrington, who he joined from non-league Bognor Regis in 2021.
He was a regular for Stanley in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns before dropping to League Two with the Lancashire side last term.
Leigh set to complete Bradford move as fee agreed
Leigh is competent in a range of roles including central midfield, attacking midfield and centre-forward.
The Portsmouth-born ace came through the ranks with Pompey before spells with Horndean, Baffins Milton Rovers and Bognor Regis.
Bradford are set to add Leigh as they push for promotion under manager Graham Alexander.
The Bantams sit eighth in League Two, just two points outside the playoff places and four points adrift of an automatic promotion spot.
Alexander’s side have won three of their last four games and are next in action in the fourth tier against Carlisle on 18 January.
