Bristol City and Swansea are weighing up moves for Amiens defender Osaze Urhoghide, sources have told Football Insider.

Former Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic star Urhoghide, 24, has impressed at Ligue 2 side Amiens since joining in the summer of 2023.

Championship duo Bristol City and Swansea are weighing up a move for the centre-back, who started his career with AFC Wimbledon.

Urhoghide has made 18 appearances across all competitions for Amiens this season, scoring three goals.

He has started in 15 of those outings for the mid-table side.

The defender has made 39 appearances in total for the French outfit since joining from Celtic 18 months ago.

Urhoghide, who was born in the Netherlands and has English citizenship, is under contract until June 2026.

The 24-year-old can play across the back four but has primarily featured as a centre-back in his career to date.

He made just one senior appearance during his time with Celtic, spending most of his time as a Hoops player on loan with KV Oostende of Belgium.

The defender played 21 times during his spell at then-Championship Sheffield Wednesday.
