Brentford defender Val Adedokun has agreed a loan move to Cheltenham Town, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old is undergoing a medical with the League Two club ahead of a move to Whaddon Road.
An announcement on Adedokun’s move is expected soon with the formalities close to completion.
The young left-back spent the first half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan with Hungarian top division side Diósgyőri.
He made three appearances before returning to Brentford at the end of December.
Republic of Ireland Under-19 international Adedokun is yet to make his senior Bees bow but has been a regular for the B Team since joining from Dundalk in 2021.
He made 34 appearances in the 2023-24 campaign as captain and was recognised with the B Team’s Player of the Year award.

The 21-year-old also appeared on the Brentford senior bench on seven occasions last term after injuries to Aaron Hickey and Rico Henry.
Adedokun signed a new contract at the Gtech Community Stadium last year (2024), keeping him with the Bees until at least 2026.
Cheltenham sit 13th in League Two under manager Michael Flynn after their relegation from League One last term.
The Robins are currently playing left-footed centre-back Tom Bradbury at left-back after a serious injury to summer signing Ryan Haynes.
In other news, Wycombe work on signing Brentford 23-year-old.
