Leeds United are set to endure a chaotic end to the summer transfer window as they search the market for new arrivals.

Crysencio Summerville has joined West Ham United and will need replacing whilst Georginio Rutter traded Leeds for Brighton last week.

That’s left a massive void in the attack and Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe has been identified by Elland Road chiefs.

Though, TBR Football understands that Marseille remain in the driving sight for his signature which has forced Leeds to look elsewhere.

Sunderland attacker Jack Clarke wants to join Leeds United

Speaking exclusively to TBR Football, journalist Graeme Bailey shared the latest on Leeds United’s interest in Sunderland winger Jack Clarke, who’s been labelled as ‘dazzling’ per Sunderland News.

“They are in the mix for Jack Clarke and (I’m) told the player would be happy to move to Elland Road, but there is a lot of interest – the player is expecting to leave Sunderland this month.”

Clarke is yet to agree a new contract at Sunderland, who have made multiple attempts to tie him down to fresh terms.

The former Leeds man has two years remaining on his deal, so this summer would represent the last chance to sell him on for his true valuation.

Now that it’s become evident he wants out of the Stadium of Light, Leeds may test the waters with an opening bid in the coming days.

Jack Clarke price tag

Clarke has established himself as one of the best wingers in the Championship over the last few seasons and that was amplified by his outstanding output last term.

The 23-year-old netted 15 times whilst laying on four assists despite being in an underperforming Sunderland side.

As such, the Black Cats are keen to receive around £18m if they are to sanction his sale.
