Leeds United, Sunderland, Coventry City and Swansea are tracking Oxford United star Tyler Goodrham, sources have told Football Insider.

The attacking midfielder, 21, is regarded as one of the best young talents in the EFL after impressing at Oxford in the last couple of seasons.

Leeds, Sunderland, Coventry and Swansea are all keeping close tabs on Goodrham as they plot late-window moves.

The Republic of Ireland international has been a key player for Oxford this season. He’s made 28 appearances and contributing seven goals and assists across all competitions.

Oxford face fight to keep Tyler Goodrham from Leeds and Swansea

Goodrham has been influential for Oxford since graduating from their academy and breaking into the first team.

He enjoyed a breakout season during Oxford's promotion-winning campaign in League One last season, making 51 appearances, scoring 10 goals, and providing five assists.

This season, Goodrham has carried his impressive form into the Championship, catching the eye of several EFL clubs. A move to a team pushing for promotion might prove too tempting for the player to resist.

Gary Rowett's side currently sit 17th in the Championship, six points clear of the relegation zone. Losing Goodrham could deal a significant blow to their survival hopes.

The team will have to adjust to life without their midfielder for the next three matches after their appeal against his red card in the FA Cup clash with Exeter was rejected, which came as no surprise to ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett.

The hierarchy has shown support for Rowett with new January signings like Ole Romeny and Alex Matos. Additionally, they are in talks with Burnley over a potential deal for defender Hannes Delcroix.

In other news, a Championship star has passed his medical at Oxford United.
