Nottingham Forest have won the race to sign Scottish sensation Ally Graham after reaching a full agreement over a January move, sources have told Football Insider.
Arsenal, Newcastle and Southampton have all shown an interest in Dundee teenage goalkeeper Graham.
But Football Insider can exclusively reveal that Forest have moved quickly to agree a deal with Dundee for the shot-stopper.
Graham is set to make the move to the City Ground in January and will initially link up with the club’s Under-18s with Forest having high hopes he will develop into a first teamer in the future.
The 16-year-old has already played for Dundee Under-18s and has become a regular in the Scotland youth set-up.
Nottingham Forest continuing a fine season with transfer coup
It has always been an excellent season on the pitch for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, with victories over the likes of current league leaders Liverpool, Man United and most recently Tottenham on Boxing Day.
That form means Nottingham Forest now sit fourth in the Premier League table, firmly in contention for qualification for Europe at the very least.
They are now backing that up off the pitch by beating a number of their rivals to a promising talent in the form of Graham.
The goalkeeper too will surely see this as a big opportunity to make a name for himself in the future, as he joins from a Dundee side who sit ninth in the Scottish Premiership as things stand.
In other news, Nottingham Forest are expected to agree a new deal with a key player soon.
