Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are just a few of the clubs that have been linked with Federico Chiesa in recent months.

With the transfer window in full swing, the Gunners, the Reds, the Lilywhites and the Magpies are all likely to be busy in pursuit of strengthening their respective squads.

Arsenal and Liverpool fell just short of winning the Premier League title last season, so they’ll be eager to bring their teams up to scratch and challenge again.

Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will be looking to improve his squad’s strength in depth after a solid maiden season at N17.

As for the Magpies, they reached the Champions League last year but didn't even get into Europe this term, so they'll want to put things right next season.

Chiesa, who plies his trade for Juventus and represents Italy at international level, has been linked with all four teams – plus Chelsea – in recent months.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided a significant update on the 26-year-old attacker.

Federico Chiesa set to be sold

Romano has reported on X that Juventus have now made a “clear” decision on Chiesa.

They plan to sell the Italian winger this summer. with contract due to expire June 2025, said the transfer insider.

Thiago Motta doesn't see Chiesa as key part of his project, and the Bianconeri are now looking for solutions, added Romano.

Chiesa could be snapped up for bargain price

Chiesa came through the ranks at Fiorentina before joining Juventus in 2020 on an initial loan deal and signing permanently in 2022.

The 26-year-old, who can play across the entire front line, has made 131 outings for Juve, registering 34 goals and 25 assists.

Admittedly, Chiesa wasn’t at his best for Italy at Euro 2024, but few Azzurri players could hold their heads up high after their last-16 exit.

With a reported price tag of less than £30million, he could potentially be a relatively inexpensive signing for the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham or Newcastle.
