FC Dallas $182m renovation of Toyota Stadium greenlighted

September 20 – FC Dallas has been given the green light by the Frisco City Council for a $182 million public-private partnership to renovate their Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Work will begin in 2025 with the full renovation to be complete in the first quarter of 2028 in time the MLS season kick-off.

The stadium's capacity will increase by about 3,400 seats from the current 20,500 capacity. More importantly for the commercial side,
