Whether it was under Jurgen Klopp or under Arne Slot now, Mohamed Salah has proven to be Liverpool’s main man as evidenced in his masterclass in his side’s 6-3 annihilation of Tottenham Hotspur.

Salah starred for the visitors at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as he played a part in four of his side’s six goals against Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Salah has urged Liverpool to “improve” defensively, which goes to show how he constantly strives for perfection.

The 32-year-old is truly an ageless wonder, racking up the most goal involvements (33) out of any player in the Premier League across all competitions this season.

Both as a goalscorer and a creator, the Liverpool legend continues to be a phenomenon.

Arne Slot says Mohamed Salah’s professionalism “impressed” him after Liverpool beat Tottenham

Slot pinpointed that Salah’s professionalism in being prepared to play at the highest possible level every few days is what has “impressed” him the most about him since managing Liverpool after reviewing his side’s emphatic win against Tottenham.

The Dutchman told Sky Sports: “He understands what it takes to be at this level every three or four days. That is what impressed me most about him.”

Salah well and truly is the model professional, as exemplified by how he manages to largely remain injury-free and continues to perform at an elite level despite being on the wrong side of 30.

The former Roma winger has not shown any signs of slowing down, making it a no-brainer for Liverpool to extend his contract beyond 2026.

The Champions League winner’s virtuosic performance against the Lilywhites was a reminder that he has plenty left in the tank to continue domineering over English football for years to come.

Andy Robertson said Salah is “the ultimate professional”

In November, Andy Robertson hailed Salah’s professionalism and rubbished any suggestions that the uncertainty around his future is affecting his mood.

Robertson said via BBC Sport: “He didn’t look sad to me.”

“Mo comes into training every day with a smile on his face. He’s such a focused individual and he will be focused on Real Madrid.”

“That’s what all good players do. That’s what the best in the world do and he certainly falls into that category.”

Salah is an inspiration to all young players across world football on what it takes to have a world-class career.
