Myles Lewis-Skelly made headlines for Arsenal at the weekend as he made his Premier League debut against Manchester City.

However, it wasn't Lewis-Skelly's footballing ability that was the main talking point of the day.

Indeed, the teenager was booked before he even came on for dissent, while he got into a bit of a war of words with Erling Haaland after the game.

Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been discussing Lewis-Skelly, and he shared some interesting insight into the youngster's personality.

Seaman has been going into Arsenal training to do some coaching in recent years, and he says that Lewis-Skelly is actually a very quiet character, so he was a bit surprised to see him so animated on the bench.

Myles Lewis-Skelly is very quiet

Seaman spoke about the youngster.

"Myles Lewis-Skelly. Did you see that, he got booked before he made his Premier League debut,” Seaman said.

"It was so funny because I've seen him because I go into Arsenal once a week, and I'd go in once a week. He'd come in as a schoolboy and put his uniform back on to go back to school. To see where he is now is so incredible. He's a really quiet lad, so I don't know how he got his booking."

Myles Lewis-Skelly is very competitive

Lewis-Skelly is a quiet individual behind the scenes, but like any footballer, he has this serious competitive streak inside him.

When things aren't going right for his team, he's going to get just as incensed as any other player, and that boiled over at the weekend.

That aggressive edge isn't a bad thing at all when you want to reach the top of the game, and given how highly rated Lewis-Skelly is, he could well be on his way to the top.

Lewis-Skelly is going to be a consistent feature for Arsenal in the coming years, and he could become a star for the Gunners in the future.
