Riccardo Calafiori's injury issues have paved the way for Myles Lewis-Skelly at Arsenal

Arsenal's season has been plagued by injuries, with key players such as Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus all enduring extended spells on the sidelines.

Now, Riccardo Calafiori has suffered a knock while on international duty, raising fresh concerns for Arteta. However, even before his injury, the Italian's place in the team was under question due to the rise of Lewis-Skelly.

Calafiori impressed Arsenal fans earlier in the season, but his injury setbacks have disrupted his momentum. In contrast, Lewis-Skelly has seized his opportunity, and if he continues on this trajectory, his emergence could mark a turning point for Arsenal and England for years to come.
