Jude Bellingham has reacted to West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen's cameo display for England on Sunday evening.

Jarrod Bowen made his first appearance at a major tournament for England last night as Gareth Southgate's men picked up a 1-0 win over Serbia.

The West Ham skipper replaced Bukayo Saka in the 76th minute and made quite the impact from the bench. With England protecting a 1-0 lead, Bowen worked tirelessly to help out Kyle Walker while also providing quality in the final third.

Bowen was unfortunate not to grab an assist after his excellent delivery was headed onto the crossbar by Harry Kane.

And it's fair to say that that match-winner Jude Bellingham was impressed with the West Ham star.

Bowen impresses once again for England

Bowen has often caught the eye for England and fully deserved his place in Southgate's squad after an excellent campaign in the Premier League.

It was also interesting that he came on ahead of Chelsea's Cole Palmer last night, particularly after the Chelsea star had impressed ahead of the tournament in Germany.

Bowen certainly feels like the most natural replacement for Saka during games as the 27-year-old suits Southgate's system.

The forward will be hoping for more minutes throughout the Euros, particularly while Saka works his way back to full fitness.

His cameo displayed he has plenty to offer for the Three Lions and he could become an important option off the bench for Southgate.
