Jurgen Klopp sends message to Curtis Jones and shares huge Liverpool prediction

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has revealed he received a text from ex-manager Jurgen Klopp after his 100th appearance for the club.
The 23-year-old academy graduate was given his debut by Klopp back in 2016 and has gone on to establish himself as a key player for Arne Slot.
Jones scored Liverpool’s second goal in their 3-1 Premier League win over Leicester City on Boxing Day (December 26), helping them extend their lead over second-placed Chelsea to seven points following their 2-1 defeat to Fulham.
Speaking to Match of the Day after the win over Leicester, Jones revealed he received a text from Klopp to commemorate his 100th game, although he didn’t know he had reached the milestone.
Jones said: “I came in then and normally text family and I saw a text off [Jurgen] Klopp saying ‘congratulations on 100 games and here's to 500′. I was like what is he on about?’
“I just checked then and I am proud. It was him who set up the team we have now. The foundation was there and Arne Slot has carried it on.
"It looks good but there are plenty of games to come. You can play a team at the bottom, middle or top and it is a hard game. It is about trying to win every single game and if we do that everybody knows what comes at the end."

The attacking midfielder has already repaid Slot’s faith, starting 13 of his 21 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals, and providing four assists in 1169 minutes of action.
His fine form earned Jones his first England cap, scoring on his debut in their 3-0 UEFA Nations League win over Greece with a cheeky backheel.
Liverpool travel to West Ham for their final game of 2024 on Sunday (December 29) as they seek to gain more ground in the race for the Premier League title.
Slot’s side will then host Ruben Amorim’s struggling Man United in their first game of the new year, with the visitors sitting closer to the relegation zone than the top of the Premier League table.
