'Just look': Ange Postecoglou says Arne Slot has something at Liverpool that Spurs just don't have right now

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was left deflated after seeing his team hammered by Liverpool but he’s also pointed out to fans just why the Reds are better.
Spurs shipped six more goals to make it nine conceded at home in just two games.
Once again, it exposed the defensive issues at large at the club, although Peter Schmeichel has blamed Postecoglou for the manner of the defeat.
Arne Slot, meanwhile, was able to sit back and see his team tear Spurs apart and according to Postecoglou, Slot has luxuries that he just doesn’t have.
Ange Postecoglou highlights the big difference between Spurs and Liverpool
Speaking to the media after the game, Postecoglou was frank in his assessment of his own side.
And when it comes to Liverpool, the Aussie admitted that the Reds just have too much when it comes to squad depth.
“Painful one for us, credit to Liverpool, they were too strong for us today and we were running on empty in terms of our energy levels which is quite understandable with the situation we’re in,” Postecoglou said.
“They’re a good side and in a good moment. We racked up from Thursday night with the same team so that tells you a fair bit. It played a part but it doesn’t take away they’re a very good football team. It was a bridge too far.
“The lads tried as hard as they could but they met an opponent that was a little bit too sharp. I don’t like losing. I said during the week we want to be an attacking team but we want to win.
“Not many sides have scored three against them. They’re flying, really settled. Just look at the players they’re bringing on, we’re not at that level yet. I think I’ve explained clearly what happened today.”
Mohamed Salah highlights Tottenham problems
Tottenham were second best throughout and going 5-1 down at home is never going to do anyone any favours.
They did well to come back and make it a game but in the end, Liverpool just had way too much.
Indeed, Mo Salah spoke of how Liverpool knew how Tottenham would play and that in itself is becoming an issue for Spurs and Postecoglou.
"We were quite good up front but defensively we need to improve as a team. Conceding three goals is quite hard. It's a good result, hopefully we just keep going. We expected that [a chaotic game], the way they play, they open the game, they enjoy their football, physically tough and mentally we always have to be in the game,” Salah said.
"They don't change much the way they play, it's intense. City came here and struggled, other teams too. I'm happy we won because they play an intense game."
Tottenham, then, have a lot to work on and going into Christmas in the bottom half was not what was expected at the start of the season.
