'Just so different': Ben White says Arsenal have a top talent in their ranks who does 'crazy things' in training

Arsenal have improved massively over the past five years, becoming regular Premier League title challengers and competing in the Champions League once again.
Admittedly, the Gunners have suffered a downturn in form and their recent results haven’t been great, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not massively concerning.
Arsenal’s team is full of quality players with the right character and attitude, there are numerous young stars coming through, and contract negotiations are now a strength rather than a weakness.
The Gunners media team has published a feature article with one of the club’s success stories from the past few years, Ben White.
He spoke about a number of subjects, including some of his teammates’ fitness regimes.
White revealed how he looks up to one of his teammates who does “crazy things” to maintain his fitness that are “just so different”.

Arsenal defender Ben White stunned by Takehiro Tomiyasu’s ‘crazy’ training regime
The player in question is Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has been a solid squad player for Arsenal and, at just £19.8million, he was a real bargain.
"Growing up in football as well you have lots of senior players around you to look up to and who set an example,” said White.
"You try to take bits and pieces from lots of different players when you start out, but really I'm still doing that now. There are a few players in our squad that I look up to.
“Tomiyasu for example – he does some crazy things! The exercises and things that he does in preparation are just so different to what I've known before in football.”
When could Tomiyasu make his Arsenal injury return?
Tomiyasu has been a moderate success at Arsenal since his move from Bologna in 2021.
He has made 84 competitive appearances for the Gunners, registering two goals and six assists.
While White has excelled since switching to right-back, Tomiyasu's defensive solidity and versatility are valuable assets for Arteta.
However, the Japan international has been struggling with injury in recent years, missing 60 games and counting for Arsenal.
