Celtic have been backed to bring Arsenal outcast Kieran Tierney back to the football club in the January transfer window.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson admitted he "it's achievable" and “highly likely” for the Scottish giants.
The 27-year-old is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer, meaning he could be signed on a free transfer after this season ends.
However, the Hoops might look to bring their former club captain back sooner than that by striking a deal with the Gunners in January.
The left-back made 170 appearances during his previous stint at Celtic, but was sold to Arsenal for a then-Scottish record fee of £25million.
Celtic could look to re-sign Kieran Tierney in January
"It’s achievable," Robinson revealed to Football Insider.
"That’s probably what both parties would want, even Arsenal wouldn’t stand in his way.
"Like you say, injuries, not playing, he's not been part of Mikel Arteta's squad going forward.
"[Him leaving] frees that space up in Arsenal’s squad, [and] for Tierney, it’s a great fit.
"For Celtic, it seems a great fit.
"That one looks like it’s got highly likely potential of happening in January."
